2021 marks the 125th Anniversary of hockey in Ulster. It also marks the conclusion of the ‘Hockey Matters – 2017-21 Strategy’. We’ve come a long way in the last 125 years – and we want to keep moving forwards, growing and evolving the sport we love.
These are exciting yet challenging times for hockey, with the Irish ladies squad primed for the Tokyo Olympics and with youth hockey thriving at all levels across the Province. The last 12 months have been challenging for everyone in the Ulster Hockey family, but hopefully we are now emerging from the darker days of COVID. To ensure a strong and resilient response to the challenges we have faced, and a sustainable and prosperous future for hockey in Ulster, we are now working to develop our strategy for the 2021-2026 period.
We need your help to shape the strategy and future of Ulster Hockey. As stage one of the member engagement process, we would like to invite you to complete the following short survey by midnight on 18th April 2021.
All entrants will have the chance to win a £200 voucher from Podium 4 Sport.
The survey can be found at the following link. We encourage our clubs to circulate this widely amongst players, members and volunteers.
