Ulster Hockey is aware of the recent position regards lock down announced by the Northern Ireland Executive on 21st January 2021.
It has been indicated by the Executive that the restrictions will remain in place until 5th March 2021. Ulster Hockey is awaiting clarification on the impact on sport and will advise the position for hockey activity as soon as possible.
Additionally, the Competitions Committee has been convening on a regular basis to monitor the situation and plan for the viability of resuming competitive hockey. In light of the current position and given the recent announcement , it is unlikely that leagues will resume. However if restrictions allow, Ulster Hockey would be keen to consider options for competitive hockey through cup competition.
