09 Nov 2018 | School's Hockey

Ulster Hockey in partnership with BDO NI are pleased to announce the festival dates for the 2019 McCloy and Pearson Cups. With the Pearson coming into its 43rd year inexistence and the McCloy coming into its 31st both cups are steeped in history and tradition and we are over the moon to have BDO NI on board with both cups for the next three years.

Laura Jackson Partner of BDO NI said at the time the partnership came together: “Hockey is a leading sport in Northern Ireland and its participation in schools is growing rapidly. It is important to support this growth so that as many young people throughout the region have the opportunity to participate. BDO Northern Ireland are proud to become a partner organisation in aiming to achieve this vision.”

Andrew Brown Youth Development Officer at Ulster Hockey: “We are over the moon to have a proactive and forward thinking company such as BDO NI on board with our primary school and youth indoor competitions for the next three years. The partnership with BDO Northern Ireland we hope will also be the start of a long relationship and it’s great to see the support and encouragement of the development of youth sport in our communities from local businesses.”

Your school will take part in a day of hockey with schools from your region and promises to be a day full of hockey, fun and excitement for everyone that takes part.
