The semi finals of the Denman Ulster Shield and Miller McCall Wylie Kirk Cup took place at Lisnagarvey on Sunday 8th of May. The sun came out and we were treated to some fantastic hockey from both the ladies and the men’s.
Denman Ulster Shield
In a tightly contested match Banbridge progressed to the final with a 2-1 win over Ballymoney. The second semi-final saw Pegasus book a place in the final with a 3-1 win over Lurgan.

The first of the men’s semi finals saw Lisnagarvey run away with a 6-1 defeat of Cookstown. In a much closer affair Banbridge pipped Annadale with a solitary goal.
