Ulster Hockey warmly welcome Neal Lucas to the Ulster Hockey Board as an Independent Member, who joins us in preparation of the new Incorporated Board to be adopted at the AGM in May.

Neal was co-opted by the Board in February and attended his first Board Meeting in March.  He brings a wealth of experience of working with Boards and senior management teams of organisations across the voluntary, private and public sectors. Neal has a background in accountancy and finance, HR, leadership and Board development.  The Chair, Board Members and Executive Manager are looking forward to working with him, listening to his independent viewpoint, insight, challenge and guidance.

The founder of a leading Executive Search company, Neal is a well-respected, successful business owner/MD with a large network of career contacts.  He is married with a young family of 4 children and enjoys playing tennis and coaching mini-rugby in the Lisburn area. He has a passion for increasing participation in sport and club development, through his lifetime involvement in sport.

Neal commented, “When approached about being part of the new strategic Board structure, I was delighted to say yes and look forward to contributing to the Board as it seeks to build on the good work of those currently involved and increase the participation in and profile of hockey across Ulster in the years ahead”
