The 2025 Interprovincials get underway this afternoon in Cork with both the Ulster U16 and U18 sides taking on Munster this evening.
The sides will then play Connacht tomorrow afternoon before games against both Leinster and Leinster South on Sunday.
Last season, Davy Menaul’s side narrowly missed out on the Interprovincial title, coming second to Leinster, and this season they are looking to go one step further and win the competition once more.
T team have had plenty of preparation this summer, contesting games with Scotland, UK Lions and Hockey Mentors over the past few months, and now head to Cork looking to reclaim their Interprovincial title, which they last won in 2023.
The side get their first game underway at 18:00 this evening against Munster.
Looking to retain their title, the U18s are led by Suzanne Evans, who, in her 18-month stint as coach, has guided her side to both UK School Games and Interprovincial success.
Now looking for yet more silverware, Evans and her side have also been in action recently against the Hockey Mentors, contesting a series of competitive friendlies against the English side at Ulster University, Jordanstown and Belfast High School two weeks ago.
The team will now face Munster at 18:30 this evening before taking on Connacht tomorrow afternoon in their opening two games.
