LWM PREM: Weekend Preview

There are three games in the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League this weekend, with Larne out to continue their unbeaten run in the division.

Currently in seventh, the side haven’t lost in their last four in the division and have picked up back-to-back draws against EYHL2 chasing sides.

A 1-1 draw against Mossley was followed by a similar result against second-placed Lisnagarvey, courtesy of an Amy Campbell strike.

They now face a Banbridge side who have won two of their last three outings in the division and come into the weekend five points above their hosts in the table.

Elsewhere, Lisnagarvey are looking to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Mossley as they host Omagh at Comber Road.

Following their midweek loss, the side are officially out of title contention, but are still firmly in contention for an EYHL2 spot.

With just three games left to play, Ryan McMaster’s side are four points ahead of fourth-place Mossley and seven ahead of Lurgan in fifth.

They now take on an Omagh side who are winless this season and come into the tie on a run of seven straight defeats.

The final game of the weekend sees Ballmoney continue their fight for survival as they travel to face Lurgan.

Three goals from Nikki Parke, Katie Burns and Anna Wright helped the side earn an impressive point against Belfast Harlequins midweek and they will need to produce a similar peformance to get anything this weekend.

Their hosts have won four of their last five games in the division, most recently thrashing Omagh 5-0.

Meanwhile, a win for the side could see them close the gap to the EYHL2 places to just two points, with two games in hand over Belfast Harlequins.
