Ulster Hockey are delighted to announce the Children’s Kidney Fund NI as an official charity partner.
The Children’s Kidney Fund NI is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting families across Northern Ireland who are affected by kidney-related issues in children.
The fund aims to provide financial assistance, emotional support, and practical resources to families facing the challenges of caring for a child with kidney conditions. The organisation works tirelessly to raise awareness about paediatric kidney diseases, fund research initiatives, and offer direct support to families in need.
Through fundraising events, donations, and community outreach programs, the fund strives to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Speaking on the new partnership, Ulster Hockey CEO Marc Scott said:
“Ulster Hockey is delighted to partner with Children’s Kidney Fund NI. The charity provides vital support to children and their families living with renal conditions.
Their focus is on making children and their families’ lives better. Ulster Hockey is proud to play a small part in making that happen and to help raise awareness and much-needed funds and donations for a very worthy cause, which I am sure will touch the lives of many of our members.”
Children’s Kidney Fund NI CEO Keith Smith also added:
“We are delighted to have been invited to partner with Ulster Hockey as their charity partner.
This relationship will enable us to enhance public awareness of the benefits of organ donation. We are looking forward to the mutual benefits for both organisations.”

Following the launch of the partnership, Ulster Hockey staff member Zoe Lindsay will be running the Belfast City Marathon in May to raise money for the Children’s Kidney Fund NI.
