This weekend, an Ulster U21 Mens squad will travel to Glasgow for a three-match series against Scotland.
Accompanied by a coaching staff of Mark Evans, Dawie Holley & James Trimble, the 18-man squad will get the action underway on Saturday evening with a 7pm game at Clydesdale before back-to-back matches on Sunday and Monday at the Scottish Hockey Centre.
The tour comes in the same week that we welcome the England Association of Colleges to Belfast for a three match series with the Ulster U18 Boys and speaking ahead of both sets of matches, Ulster Hockey Talent & Pathways Manager Shirley McCay said:
“We’re delighted to welcome England Assocation of Colleges to Ulster for the first time and look forward to a competitive series.
We also head to Glasgow this weekend with a very capable group to compete against Scotland.
I’m enthused by the commitment of our young athletes at this age group, which is a pivotal stage of their development and the pathway.”
