Ulster Hockey are delighted to present our official charity partners NI Children’s Hospice with £6,000.
This much needed support for the Hospice was raised through a series of hair related incidents during lock down where Billy Pollock (Chair) and Marc Scott (Executive Manager) shaved their beards; ramping it up a level, Under 18 Ulster Squad Coaches Stephen Cuddy and Paddy Grimes shaved their heads; and finally Stephen Arbuthnot, Dane Ward and Luke Roleston made the ultimate, painful sacrifice of allowing their loved ones to wax their legs. Kudos to the guys who suffered greatly for the cause!!
A big thank you to everyone in the Ulster Hockey family who supported this great cause and special mention to Claire McIlhenny and the Strule River String Band (Omagh) who generously donated £500.
