Wednesday the 23rd of November saw the finals of the girls super league, Tier A and Tier B!

Congatulations to Larne Grammar for winning the Tier B of the Super League and Congratulations to Royal School Armagh for winning the Tier A of the Super League.

Larne Grammar were the 3 – 0 victors over the runners up Grosvenor Grammar, both teams showed excellent hockey on the day but Larne proved more clinical in their chances taking an early lead, and then securing their lead in the final Quarter with well taken penalty corner routines.

Royal School Armagh Emerged the 1-0 Winners in their final versus the eventual runners up Methodist College Belfast after a heavily contested match were both teams had trouble making progress through two very solid defenses, but in the dying moments of the final quarter while Methody were down a player due to a green card, Armagh were able to find the final touch in the circle that secured them the win.

A special thanks to all the umpires and technical officials who made this possible, Lisnagarvey hockey club for being a superb venue for the occasion and all supporters who created a brilliant atmosphere on the day.

A huge Thank You to the Woodenfloor Company Belfast for their sponsorship of this event allowing it to live up to its name.

Congratulations to both Grosvenor Grammar School and Larne Grammar School on their promotion to the Tier A of the Super League.
