Banbridge continued their remarkable start to the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League season as they beat Larne 4-2 at Havelock Park.
Selina Lewis had given the visitors the lead from a penalty corner midway through the first quarter before Stef Ardis equalised with the final play of the period.
However, it was Larne who once again took the lead in the second quarter, with Anna McRoberts giving her side a 2-1 lead at half-time from another corner.
In the second half it was Banbridge who completed the comeback with Katie Leslie scoring her first senior goal, latching on to a loose ball following an initial save from the Larne goalkeeper.
In the fourth period, Yasmin Morrow gave her side the lead for the first time in the tie before a late Paula Atkinson goal wrapped up the three points for her side.
Unbeaten in their last four, the side sit second in the league as the division’s top goal scorers.
In Omagh, a Beth Ravey hat-trick helped Lisnagarvey secure a 4-2 win over their hosts.
The hosts got their first goal of the season when Laura White scored with 25 minutes gone, whilst Lauren McCollum also got on the scoresheet after a well-worked move down the right wing.
However, a strike from Beth McFerran and a hat-trick from Beth Ravey saw the visitors secure a 4-2 win and take all three points back to Comber Road.
At Londonderry Park, Ards continued their unbeaten start to the season as they beat high-flying Mossley 2-0.
After a goalless first quarter, the hosts broke the deadlock with 22 minutes played when Alyssa Boyd was picked out by Naomi Grundie before firing her side 1-0 ahead.
In a tight game, it remained 1-0 until the dying stages of the tie when Ards finally wrapped up all three points with their second strike.
This time it was Ali Carson who found the unmarked Pippa Best, who doubled her sides lead and sealed the 2-0 win.
The final game of Saturday’s action saw Lurgan win 3-0 away to bottom relegation-threatened Ballymoney.
Goals from Lydia McNeill, Lauren Wright and Olivia Gibson sealed the comfortable win for Andy Brown’s side, who ended the weekend in fourth place.
Meanwhile, Ballymoney remain bottom of the table, having lost all five of their opening league games.
In Friday night’s game, Belfast Harlequins made it back-to-back wins as they beat Armagh 2-0 at Ardmore Recreation Centre.
Having started the game on top, it was Quins who found the breakthrough when they were awarded a penalty stroke for a foot on the line before Alyssa Jebb converted from the spot for her third goal of the season.
The lead was then doubled midway through the second quarter when Megan Getty converted following a scramble in the goal mouth.
With no Armagh response, it was the visitors who took all three points to remain third in the division, only behind the top two on goal difference.
