Instonians host South Antrim at Shaw’s Bridge as the Men’s Premier League returns from a two-week break.
The home side recently ended their three game run without a win, beating Kilkeel 5-1 with goals from Stephen Kelso (2), Jacob McIlhatton (2) and Frank Hollway and could go level on points with the league leaders with another win.
Meanwhile, South Antrim have had a mixed start to the season, winning two, drawing two and losing two from their opening six games, leaving them firmly in mid-table.
However, summer recruit Max Taylor has been one of the strong points for his side, netting in each of their last three games, including their recent 1-0 win over Mossley.
Should his side seal a win this weekend, they could climb as high as second in the division.
Elsewhere, Queen’s University continue their charge at the top of the division when they host high-flying Mossley.
The students have both the best attack (24) and best defence (7) in the division season and are the only side yet to lose a game.
However, Saturday’s opponents are led by the division’s top goalscorer with Neal Glassey netting nine goals already this campaign.
His side have also made a strong start to the season and could move level on points with their hosts should they win.
CI Annadale are looking to maintain their upturn in form when they travel to face Bangor.
The Belfast club had failed to win any of their opening three games of the campaign, but could now make it four wins in a row should they win this afternoon.
Recent weeks have seen wins over South Antrim, Instonians and North Down, seeing the side climb to fourth in the division.
They now take on Anderson Cup champions Bangor, who have also seen an upturn in form, coming into the weekend unbeaten in their last three league outings.
In Comber, North Down continue their search for a first win of the season when they take on Portadown.
The hosts come into the weekend bottom of the league as the only side yet to pick up a point this season.
They now take on a Portadown side who have been bolstered by the form of Ryan Bennett, whose eight strikes this campaign have helped the side earn ten points so far this season.
When the two sides last met, it was Portadown who came out on top, winning 3-2 with goals from Luke Bell and Jamie Wright (2).
Another win for the side this weekend, could see them finish the day as high as second in the table.
Also looking for their first win of the campaign, Kilkeel travel to Deramore Park to face Belfast Harlequins.
Ninth in the league, the side have picked up just one point so far this season, having lost three of their four league outings.
Their hosts are also looking for an upturn in form, losing their last two games and conceding 12 goals in the process.
When the sides last met, it was Quins who came out on top when a Chris Wilson hat-trick and goals from Cameron Ruttle and Aaron Murphy sealed a 5-3 win for the side.
