The Men’s Premier League reaches the midway stage as matchday nine takes place this weekend.
League leaders Queen’s University continue their title charge as they travel to CIYMS to face CI Annadale.
The students come into the game off the back of thrashing North Down 10-0 last Saturday, a result which saw Ben Law continue his run of form in front of goal.
The former Bangor man added two to his tally for the season and has now scored nine goals in his last four outings.
His side now face a CI Annadale outfit who are unbeaten in their last four, but failed to win their last tie, when an Adam Duffield strike was only enough to seal a 1-1 draw with Bangor.
Elsewhere, high-flying South Antrim host bottom of the league North Down at Friends’.
The Lisburn side have hit form in recent weeks, winning their last three and as a result climbed to third in the division.
Last weekend the side sealed a win over Kilkeel with goals from Jacob Hermon, Max Taylor, David Arneil and Ben Clarke.
Opponents North Down will be hoping they can end their poor run of form, which sees them without a win in their last 15 league games.
At The Glade, Mossley hosts Intonians, with the hosts looking for a third win in a week.
Following a 6-1 loss against Queen’s University, Mossley have beaten both Portadown and Kilkeel with Neal Glassey bringing his tally to a league high 12 goals.
They now face an Instonians side looking to bounce back from a 4-1 loss to Portadown ten days ago.
A win for the Belfast side could see them climb back into the top half, whilst their hosts could go level on points for the league leaders.
The penultimate game of the day sees Portadown host Belfast Harlequins at Edenvilla.
The home side have had an impressive season to date and are just two points behind second-place Mossley.
Defender Ryan Bennett is amongst the top scorers in the division, scoring 11 goals this year and most recently scored in the 4-1 win over Instonians last Thursday.
However, they most recently suffered their heaviest defeat of the season, losing 5-0 to Mossley last weekend.
Quins come into the tie off the back of their first win in four games, whilst forwards Matthew Gray and Cameron Ruttle have both scored in back-to-back games.
The final game of the weekend sees both Kilkeel and Bangor looking to bounce back from recent defeats.
Last weekend, Bangor suffered a 4-2 loss to Belfast Harlequins, whilst Kilkeel lost midweek to Mossley.
This fixture also sees the two sides come into the weekend separated by just two points, with the Anderson Cup champions in the final safety position.
