McCullough Cup Semi-Final Draw

Eight school sides will compete in the McCullough Cup Tier 1 & 2 Semi-Finals at Havelock Park tomorrow.

After a highly competitive group stage in Tier 1, it was the reigning champions Royal Belfast Academical Institution who came out on top and sealed first place, narrowly beating Banbridge Academy, who finished second.

Meanwhile, there was a four-way tie on points, with Sullivan Upper and Wallace High School claiming the last two Semi-Final places ahead of Cookstown High School and Bangor Grammar School.

In Tier 2, Grosvenor Grammar School and Methodist College Belfast have contested the last two finals, and both sides have once again progressed to the Semi-Final stage, where they will meet Royal & Prior and Regent House.

Spectators are welcome at all four of tomorrow’s games with a gate fee of £3 for children and £6 for adults.

Tier 2 Semi-Final 1: Grosvenor Grammar School vs Regent House (10:30am)

Tier 2 Semi-Final 2: Royal & Prior vs Methodist College Belfast (12:30pm)

Tier 1 Semi-Final 1: Royal Belfast Academical Institution vs Wallace High School (2:30pm)

Tier 1 Semi-Final 2: Banbridge Academy vs Sullivan Upper (4:30pm)
