In the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League, there is an early season top of the table clash as Queen’s University host Belfast Harlequins.
The two sides both got their seasons up and running with 7-0 wins on the opening day and will be expecting to be in the top spots come April.
Meanwhile, both sides have been impenetrable and are yet to concede a goal from their opening ties.
The game sees Quins forward Alyssa Jebb return to face her old side as she helped fire Queen’s to the title with 19 goals last season.
At the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre high-flying Portadown travel to face Ballymoney.
The young side are the early pace setters having won both their opening games 5-0 against Lurgan and Armagh.
Amidst their ranks is the division’s top goalscorer Evie Girvan who has already netted three times this campaign whilst Emily Adamson is also looking to score for a third week running.
As for Ballymoney, they are looking to get their first points of the season following losses against Mossley and Lisnagarvey so far.
There is one other game taking place in the division on Saturday with Mossley travelling to Lisnagarvey with both teams having won one and lost one of their opening two games so far.
The hosts got their campaign off to a winning start with an opening day 3-1 win over Ballymoney with goals from Chrissy Hopkins, Beth Ravey and Louise Hughes but lost 1-0 to Queen’s University last week.
Today’s opponents Mossley also overcame Ballymoney with a 2-0 win at The Glade last Saturday courtesy of two Lucy Campbell strikes.
The two sides go head-to-head today at Comber Road and will be hoping to improve upon their already steady starts in the division.
