Ards will be hoping to continue their one hundred per cent start to the season in one of three games in the Legacy Ulster Women’s Premier League today.
The Oranges travel to Armagh today who remain pointless after losing both their opening games to Belfast Harlequins and Ballymoney.
The Armagh defence will have to be wary of Suzie Cotter and Ali Carson who have both started the season in fine form with two goals each so far.
The hosts are one of three teams in the division yet to earn a point so far this campaign, but victory over recently relegated Ards would be a great way to kick-start their season.
Elsewhere Omagh will be hoping to continue their good start since promotion which has seen them pick up four points since their return to the division.
The county Tyrone side take on Lisnagarvey and could make it back-to-back wins following last week’s victory over Banbridge.
If Omagh are to continue their positive start, they will be relying on the form of Katie McDowell who has already found the net twice this season.
Their opponents Lisnagarvey have been dealt a tough blow at the start of the season having already played both Ards and Queen’s University, who both occupy the top spots.
Whilst today’s fixture against Omagh sees them take on newly promoted opposition, they face a side that continues their form into their new division and will prove difficult.
Today’s other game sees Belfast Harlequins travel to the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre to take on Ballymoney where both sides sit mid-table on three points.
With mixed starts to the season and Quins lost their opening game to recently promoted Portadown before beating Armagh last week.
Opponents Ballymoney have seen similar results against Armagh and Lurgan which leaves little to separate the two so far this campaign.
However, it will be Harlequins who go into the game as favourites having recently been relegated from the EYHL and will be looking to secure back-to-back wins to launch a promotion campaign.
