In the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League, Queen’s University made it six wins on the bounce as they eased past Ballymoney.

A Zoe Wilson hat-trick and a goal from Jenna McCarlie sealed a 4-0 win at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre and ensured the side stay top of the division.

Furthermore, the win also sees Simon Bell’s side continue their impenetrable defensive record as they are yet to concede a goal this season.

Elsewhere, Omagh got their first win of the season as they won 2-0 away to Mossley.

Penalty corners proved to be the difference for Mark Cuddy’s side as Gemma Buchanan opened the scoring in the second quarter before Laura White doubled their advantage just after half-time.

The win sees the side climb up to seventh in the table with four points whereas Mossley remain in fifth, just one point above Omagh.

At Havelock Park Portadown got back to winning ways as they thrashed Banbridge 5-0.

After a strong start to the game, the visitors took an early lead with Emily Adamson breaking the deadlock in the fifth minute, scoring her fifth goal of the season.

Just moments later Evie Girvan doubled her sides lead before Adamson got her second of the afternoon before the end of the first quarter.

In the second period Lara Wilson won the ball in a dangerous position before picking out Evie Girvan who finished for her seventh goal of the campaign and Katie Herron rounded off the scoring before half-time.

The win keeps Portadown in second place, just two points behind league leaders Queen’s University whilst Banbridge remain at the foot of the table.

The final game of the day saw Lurgan beat Lisnagarvey 2-0 at Lurgan Junior High School with the win seeing the hosts climb to third in the table.
