The Ulster U16 and U18 Girls’ sides bounced back from their defeats against Leinster with big wins over Connacht on Sunday.
The 16s sealed a 6-0 win in Dublin before the 18s hit 11 without a reply from their opponents.
Following a nervy start from Davy Menaul’s young side, they opened the scoring through Ellie Costelloe as she was quickest to react to a loose ball in the circle.
Despite Ulster’s pressure, the score remained just 1-0 until the 25th minute when Holly Givan brilliantly deflected into the top corner to double the advantage.
Just moments later the forward made it three as she was found at the back post before diverting the ball goal-bound before Ellie Costelloe got her second on the brink of half-time.
With 42 minutes on the clock, Alana Thornton got the fifth Ulster goal as she picked up the ball with her back to goal before firing in at the near post.
The scoring was rounded off in the final quarter when Leah Callaghan picked up the ball in midfield before driving towards the circle.
Having broken into the D the midfielder fired across goal picking out the far bottom corner and rounding off a brilliant display from the 16s.
In the U18s fixture it took until the final phase of play in the first quarter before the deadlock was broken.
Erin Pim was given a yard of space in the circle before getting a reverse strike off and picking out the bottom corner in the 18th minute.
Just six minutes into the second quarter Ruby Johnston got her first goal of the afternoon as she converted from a straight strike at a penalty corner.
From there, the side went from strength to strength, with Chrissy Hopkins netting twice and Lara Wilson getting on the scoresheet to bring the score to 5-0 at the half-time break.
The scoring continued early in the second half with Erin Pim getting her second of the afternoon as she reacted quickest to a save from the goalkeeper to tap in at the back post.
With the third quarter nearing its closing stages, Chrissy Hopkins completed her hat-trick as she deflected in from a Lara Wilson cross towards the back post.
Following the Ulster seventh, two goals from Lara Wilson and strikes from Ruby Johnston and Emily Adamson came within 13 minutes to round the scoring to 11-0 and complete a perfect Ulster performance.
