In the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League champions Queen’s University are out to get back to winning ways as they travel to bottom of the league Banbridge.
Last weekend’s clash with title rivals Portadown saw the students drop points for the first time this season despite Zoe Wilson netting her eighth goal of the season.
The 1-1 draw also saw Simon Bell’s side concede for the first time, ending a run of six straight clean sheets.
They now travel to Banbridge who are yet to earn a point this campaign and have conceded a league-high 22 goals in their six games so far.
Elsewhere in the division, Lurgan could make it three wins in a row as they host mid-table Mossley.
Andy Brown’s side have been went from strength to strength following a heavy opening day defeat against Portadown.
Now with back-to-back wins, Chloe McCann’s hat-trick in last week’s victory over Ballymoney has been the pick of the action in their recent run of form.
They face a Mossley side who lost their last three games and have recently slipped to seventh in the league.
Elsewhere Armagh take on Ballymoney with both sides in need of a win.
The two opponents come into today’s game off the back of defeats and separated by just three points.
A win for Armagh could see them finish the weekend in sixth place whilst Ballymoney could climb to seventh.
At Comber Road Lisnagarvey host Omagh with both teams coming into the fixture off the back of wins last weekend.
The home side secured a 4-2 win over Armagh with goals from Scarlett Swann (2), Beth McFerran and Beth Ravey whilst Omagh got their second win of the season as they beat Banbridge 2-0.
Coming into the weekend the two sides are separated by just three points with Omagh having a game in hand.
However, it is unlikely that the visitors will overtake their hosts this weekend, due to a significant goal difference advantage for the Hillsborough side.
On Friday night Portadown moved top of the division with a 2-1 win over Belfast Harlequins.
