It was a weather-struck weekend in the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League with just two games surviving Storm Bert.
In one of the games which did go ahead, Belfast Harlequins completed a league double over Banbridge as they won 2-0 on Saturday.
After a goalless first quarter, the deadlock was broken midway through the second as Sarah Torney overlapped down the right wing before picking out teammate Sophie Hunter in the circle.
The forward spun to turn her player before slotting her effort in the bottom corner to give the home side a 1-0 lead going into the half-time break.
In the second half the scored was doubled following quick thinking from Katie Larmour who fired a free into the circle before Alyssa Jebb latched onto a rebound to double the scoring.
Despite late chances for the hosts, the game ended 2-0 and makes it three wins in four games for the Belfast club.
In the days other game, Mossley got their third win of the season as the beat Armagh 3-1 at the Glade.
Despite a strike from Grace McCool, the visitors fell behind to a brace from Anna Glassey and a goal from Charlotte McCartney.
The win moves Mossley into sixth place in the table, whilst Armagh sit eighth, just two points behind their weekend’s opponents but with two games in hand.
