Omagh climbed out of the relegation places as they claimed back-to-back wins in the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League.
Saturday saw a 3-2 win over bottom of the league Ballymoney as the side climb to eighth place, one point ahead of Armagh who drop to ninth.
Goals from Sophie Egerton, Laura White and Katie McDowell sealed the win for Mark Cuddy’s side and comes following their recent 5-3 win over Armagh.
Both Becky Linford and Laura Jane Kernohan got on the scoresheet for the visitors, but their side were condemned to a twelfth league defeat of the season.
At Havelock Park, Banbridge held league leaders Ards to a 2-2 draw, becoming just the second side this season to take a point off them.
Stef Ardis got her 15th league goal of the season to move level with Ards’ Zara Malseed as the division’s leading goalscorers, whilst Nancy McCusker got her third goal of the campaign.
However, goals from Pippa Best and Alyssa Boyd saw Ards leave Havelock Park with a point.
The side are now just three points away from being crowned champions with three games remaining, but they could become champions as soon as Wednesday if Lurgan lose at Omagh.
The final game of the weekend saw Mossley and Belfast Harlequins share the spoils as they drew 1-1 at Deramore Park.
Isla Graham got her first goal of the season for Quins to rule out Lucy Campbell’s first-quarter strike for Mossley.
The result leaves the sides in the EYHL2 race, sitting fourth and fifth respectively, but it is third-place Lurgan who have the upper hand due to their game in hand over both.
