The Ulster President’s Cup gets underway with Banbridge and Larne going head-to-head at Havelock Park.
The Pool B clash will be the third meeting this season between the two sides and it is Banbridge who have the upper hand, winning 4-2 in Larne in the first of those matches.
However, just three weeks ago, the sides met at Havelock Park when goals from Anna McRoberts and Stef Ardis saw the sides play out a 1-1 stalemate as Larne extended their unbeaten run to five games.
At The Glade, Mossley will be looking to get their group stage off to a winning start when they host Armagh.
The hosts have already done the league double of Saturday’s opponents and come into this weekend having won six of their last nine, with top scorer Lucy Campbell back amongst the goals.
The Mossley player has scored three goals in her side’s last two outings, bringing her total to nine goals for the 2025-26 campaign.
However, last weekend saw Armagh end their 12 game wait for a win as they beat Ballymoney 3-1 with goals from Katelyn Johnston, Grace McCool and Mia Taylor.
The final game of the weekend sees Lurgan take on Omagh in Saturday’s only Pool A matchup.
Both teams come into the tie in fine league form, with Andy Brown’s Lurgan without defeat in their last six games.
Meanwhile, Omagh are in the midst of their best run of form in over a year, losing just one of their last four games and securing wins over both Armagh and Ballymoney.
However, most impressively for Mark Cuddy’s side, they held this Saturday’s high-flying opponents to a 3-3 draw last midweek.
Goals from Katie McDowell (2) and Amy McCollum saw the side earn an impressive league point and extended their unbeaten run to three league games.
