This week, Ulster squads will face the England Association of Colleges in a three match series between Queen’s University and Shaw’s Bridge.
Both a boys and a girls squad will be in action with games set to get underway from Friday evening.
The girls get the action underway with their first game taking place at 5:30pm on Friday at Queen’s University before a double header on Saturday (9:15am & 12pm) at Shaw’s Bridge.
Meanwhile the boys will be in action from 7:30pm on Friday before they too play a double header on Saturday morning (9:15am & 12pm) with all their games being played at The Dub.
The games come in the same week that an Ulster U21 Men’s squad will travel to Glasgow for a three match series with Scotland and speaking ahead of both sets of matches, Ulster Hockey Talent & Pathways Manager Shirley McCay said:
“We’re delighted to welcome England Assocation of Colleges to Ulster for the first time and look forward to a competitive series.
We also head to Glasgow this weekend with a very capable group to compete against Scotland.
I’m enthused by the commitment of our young athletes at this age group, which is a pivotal stage of their development and the pathway.”
