Ulster Hockey is seeking to appoint qualified coaches to work with the Ulster Hockey Performance Groups at U16/U18 levels for both genders.
Appointments to include
- Manager
- Head Coach
- Assistant Coach/es
- Goalkeeper coach
Roles operate within the Ulster Hockey Player Pathway, led and managed by Ulster Hockey’s Talent & Pathways Manager.
The coaching role will be for an initial 12 months, starting April 2024, with the possibility of the offer being extended for a further 12 month period. Further details around the programme commitment is available on request.
Ulster Hockey will provide appointed Head and Assistant Coaches with Guidelines on their role and all Coaches will be provided with the opportunity to undertake associated CPD opportunities. An Honorarium is paid in recognition of contribution to the programmes. Successful candidates will be expected to accept and sign a code of conduct and commit to adhering to all policies, procedures and codes of ethics as implemented by Ulster Hockey.

We expect all applicants to have minimum Level 1 Coaching Qualification. All applicants will be expected to have attended Safeguarding awareness training and appointments will be subject to Access NI checks. Candidates may be asked to interview if deemed appropriate.
