Hockey Ireland, in partnership with the Irish Hockey Umpires Association, and the provincial associations is delighted to launch the new ‘Fundamentals of Umpiring Award’.
The Fundamentals course has been designed to be as accessible as possible, whilst providing education and support required to start on the path of umpiring.
To achieve your ‘Fundamentals of Umpiring Award’ you must take the following steps:
- Complete your ‘Online Rules Test – https://hockeyirelandhub.ie/course/
- Complete 4 sections online (Module 1) – https://hockeyirelandhub.ie/course/
- Attend a Live Webinar (Module 1 – you can book this once you have completed your online section by emailing info@hockey.ie – first planned for 10th March)
- Attend a practical workshop in your province (Module 2 – booking will be made available online in coming weeks)
