There are four games in the Legacy Ulster Women’s Premier League today with Queen’s University set to face an in-form Lisnagarvey side.
The student side have been in blistering form so far this campaign with 25 points from their opening 10 games.
However, today they face a Lisnagarvey side who have won four of their last six whilst drawing the other two games.
The recent run has seen them climb the table as they now occupy sixth spot but a win today could see them rise to fourth.
There is also a big game at the bottom end of the table as struggling Omagh play host to Banbridge.
The home side made a promising start to life in the division when they got four points from their opening two games but have since lost their last eight games.
As a result, they are in the thick of a relegation scrap and just one point ahead of today’s opponents Banbridge.
A win for the visitors would see them climb out of the relegation zone, but even if they fail to do so they have three games in hand of today’s opposition.
Ballymoney are hoping to make it three wins in a row when they host Lurgan this afternoon.
Having gone six without a win, the County Antrim side have hit a run of form, beating Armagh and Omagh in their last two outings to bring their tally to nine points for the season.
They face a Lurgan side who themselves have won three of their last five games, most recently winning 6-1 at home to Omagh last weekend.
The final game of the day sees Belfast Harlequins travel to bottom of the table Armagh.
With just one win this season Aramgh occupy the foot of the league but a victory today could see them rise as high as eighth should Omagh and Banbridge draw.
However, they face a tough task as they play a side five places higher in the table.
Harlequins have had a mixed return to the division following their recent relegation from the EHYL but come into today’s game having beaten Portadown 3-2 at Deramore last week.
