There is a massive game at the bottom of the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League this weekend as Ballymoney host Banbridge.

The tie sees the bottom two go head-to-head as they go into the weekend separated by four points.

Hosts Ballymoney have won just once this campaign and will be hoping to end their current run of three defeats in their last four games.

If they are to earn all three points on Saturday, they will be relying on top scorer Koren Ferguson who has had a strong season to date, netting four goals in her sides opening eight games this campaign.

Meanwhile, Katherine Boyd also provides a goal threat for her side, netting in two of her sides last three outings.

Visitors Banbridge have endured a difficult start to the campaign, losing all nine of their opening fixtures, leaving them bottom of the division and without a point this campaign.

Defeat at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre would leave them in a precarious position, seven points a drift, whereas a win could see them significantly close the gap to those above them.

However, if they are to seal all three points on Saturday they will have to end a run of four games without a goal.

Elsewhere in the division Lisnagarvey host Belfast Harlequins at Comber Road with the sides currently separated by just one point coming into the weekend.

The sides last met back on matchday five when the two sides played out a six goal thriller at Deramore Park with the Belfast side coming out on top.

Four goals from Megan Getty, Katie Larmour, Jenna Henry and Sophie Hunter sealed a 4-2 victory despite Beth McFerran and Scarlett Swann giving Garvey an early lead.

With both sides now in fourth and fifth respectively, they are on the brink of the EYHL2 qualification places, narrowly behind Lurgan and with a game in hand.

A win for either side would significantly boost their chances of catching the current third-placed side coming into the second half of the campaign.

Coming into the weekend, Lisnagarvey are unbeaten in their last three games, most recently becoming just the second side this season to take a point of league leaders Queen’s University with a Beth Ravey strike sealing a 1-1 draw.

Harlequins are also in fine form with just one defeat in their last six games in the league, a run which has seen them earn 11 points.

However, they are looking to get back to winning ways as they dropped points in their last outing, drawing 0-0 away to Omagh.
