Belfast Harlequins continued their fine form in the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League with a 2-0 win away to Ballymoney on Saturday.

Two goals from Katherine Welshman and Alyssa Jebb helped seal the win which keeps the side in third place in the division, with a game in hand over Lisnagarvey in fourth.

The win also sees the Deramore Park outfit now go four league games unbeaten whilst also not conceding a goal in that time and securing further wins over Banbridge and Lisnagarvey.

As for Ballymoney, they remain in ninth place and just one point behind Armagh in eighth.

At Havelock Park, Lisnagarvey kept pace with their EYHL2 rivals as they beat Banbridge 3-1.

Goals from Beth Ravey, Beth McFerran and youngster Chrissy Hopkins helped give the visitors a 3-0 lead before Orla Magee got one back for Ban but it proved to only be a consolation effort for her side.

The defeat keeps Banbridge bottom of the division with just one point so far this season while Lisnagarvey climb above Lurgan into fourth place.

The final game of the weekend saw Mossley secure a 1-0 win away to Omagh.

Coming into the weekend, both these sides were separated by just one place in the table and two points and it was the travelling side who came out on top with a single goal.

It was Lucy Campbell who proved to be the match-winner, netting from a penalty corner midway through the second quarter with Omagh unable to find a way back into the game.

Davy Menaul’s Mossley now move five points clear of Saturday’s opponents and are cemented firmly in sixth.
