Belfast Harlequins required a late equaliser to earn a point at home to Lurgan in the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League.
Despite early pressure from the home side it was Lydia McNeill who opened the scoring for the visitors.
It remained 1-0 until the third quarter before Katie Larmour’s good work down the wing set up Claire Whiteside at the back post.
The scores weren’t level for long as Charlene Stewart restored the Lurgan lead from a penalty corner before a late deflected equaliser from Larmour saw the points shared.
Elsewhere, title challengers Portadown dropped points for the first time this season as they drew 3-3 away to Lisnagarvey.
Two goals from Evie Girvan and Emily Adamson gave the visitors a two-goal lead at the half-time break before Scarlett Swann scored from a set play to give her side a lifeline in the third quarter.
A third Portadown strike from Leah Galbraith restored their two-goal advantage but it wasn’t to be for the travelling side as late efforts from Chrissy Hopkins and Beth Ravey sealed a dramatic 3-3 draw.
With Portadown’s dropped points the door was open for Queen’s University to capitalise and extend their lead at the top.
A 4-0 win over Armagh helped the students move five points clear of their nearest title rivals with goals from Zoe Wilson, Ellie Montgomery, Jenna McCarlie and Meghan Cochrane sealing the win.
The result also means the side maintains their 100 per cent record this season whilst they are also the only team in the division yet to concede a goal in 2024/25.
The final game on Saturday saw Ballymoney get their first points of the campaign as they won 3-1 at home to Omagh.
Two goals in five minutes from Rebecca Ross and Koren Ferguson helped give the home side a 2-0 lead in the first quarter.
Midway through the third quarter, the visitors got a goal back from a penalty corner as Katie McDowell slipped the ball back to injector Gemma Buchanan and she fired in.
However, with one minute remaining in the quarter, Ballymoney restored their two-goal lead with an Abby Tutty strike.
The win sees the side move to seventh in the table while Omagh drop to ninth.
On Friday night Mossley got their second win of the season as they edged past a travelling Banbridge side.
Lucy Campbell got her third goal of the season to open the scoring for Mossley before Tara Malcolmson extended the lead to 2-0 before the end of the first quarter.
Banbridge were given a route back into the game when Orla Magee converted from a penalty stroke, but the home side restored their two goal lead when Abbie Braniff found the bottom corner.
Another strike from Cliona Cochrane saw the scoreline brought to 3-2 at half-time and with no more goals in the second half, Mossley took all three points.
