Having amassed just one point from their 11 games so far this season, Ban find themselves bottom of the division and seven points behind ninth placed Ballymoney.
They now face a Lisnagarvey side who sit comfortably in mid-table and are just two points outside the EYHL2 places.
A win for the travelling side could see them climb as high as third in the table, but having played a game more than those around them.
The final game of the afternoon sees Belfast Harlequins travel to Ballymoney as they too continue their quest for EY2 hockey next season.
The visitors are unbeaten in their last three league outings including wins over Banbridge and Lisnagarvey whilst also they also have a win over EYHL side Ards in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Ballymoney come into the tie having picked up four points from their last three league games and are just one point off the first automatic safety position.
