Kilkeel and Bangor could both make it three wins on the bounce as they go head-to-head in the Men’s Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Following difficult starts to the season for the two sides, they have both won back-to-back games and began to climb the table in recent weeks.

The home side have benefited from the recent form of Neil Stevenson who has scored three goals in their two wins over Queen’s University and North Down, a run which has helped them climb to seventh.

However, Bangor come into the tie off the back of a shock Anderson Cup victory over EYHL champions Banbridge.
Meanwhile, a Ryan Burgess hat-trick helped them to a convincing 4-0 win over Portadown in their last league outing.

Elsewhere third place Instonians take on fourth-placed Queen’s University at Shaw’s Bridge with the students able to move above their hosts with a win.

Both sides come into the game level on ten points but with the home side have played two less games than their visitors.

Adam Louden’s side made a promising start to the campaign with back-to-back wins but come into this tie with just one win in their last four outings.

Meanwhile, the students come into the tie having recently ended a run of three straight losses with a 2-0 victory over PSNI.

In Lisburn title challenging South Antrim host relegation-threatened North Down at Friends’ School.

Both sides have had contrasting seasons with South Antrim having lost just one of their opening seven league games and are led by David Gallagher who has netted X goals this season including in four of the sides last five games.

They now face bottom of the division North Down who have won just once this campaign, beating Bangor 5-4 on matchday three.

Now on the back of four straight losses, anything but a win and they will remain as the foot of the table for at least another week.
