In the Men’s Premier League Instonians host Cookstown in a massive game at the top of the table.

Both sides are expected to be in the title race come the end of the season and are currently separated by just goal difference.

However, both teams come into today’s game off the back of dropping points with Cookstown drawing 2-2 at home to Queen’s University with goals from Scott McCabe and Michael Kerr.

The hosts are without a win in two having drawn at home to Portadown before a disappointing 3-0 loss in Lisburn last weekend.

Despite recent results, a win in today’s game could see either side finish the weekend top of the table.

Elsewhere league leaders South Antrim are looking to maintain their perfect start to the campaign as they travel to Kilkeel.

The Lisburn outfit have been in fine form this season and come into this weekend’s game off the back of a 3-0 win over the then-table-toppers Instonians with goals from David Gallagher, Chris Henry and Rory Brown.

Meanwhile, Kilkeel come into the tie with just one win from their opening three league games and eighth in the table.

At The Dub, Queen’s University host North Down with both sides coming into the game off the back of impressive results last weekend.

Two goals from Harry Scott and Ben Law helped the students to a 2-2 away to Cookstown making them the first the first team to take points off the reigning champions this campaign.

Meanwhile, North Down got their first win of the season as the edged past Bangor with a 5-4 victory thanks to goals from Harry Templeton (2), Josh Gilmore, Philip Wilson and Gareth Mckeown.

A win for either side could see them move into the top half of the table, while defeat would keep them within touching distance of the relegation zone.

The final game of the weekend sees P.S.N.I take on Portadown.
