In the Men’s Premier League Kilkeel stayed top of the table after they came back from three goals behind to beat North Down 6-4.

Seventh-place North Down raced to a 2-0 lead inside four minutes with goals from Phil Wilson and Ross Blair before Gareth McKeown gave them a shock 3-0 lead.

However, two goals from Luke Russell and strikes from Jordan McCartan and David Rae gave Kilkeel a 4-3 advantage.

Having worked so hard to get in front, the sides were once again level when Josh Gilmore levelled the scoring once more.

The spectacle had another turn when Neil Stevenson made it 5-4 before taking the game beyond doubt with his second of the game to seal a 6-4 win.

Second-placed South Antrim made sure they stayed within touching distance of the leaders as they beat Raphoe 3-0.

Two goals from Jordan Robinson and another from Ryan West sealed the routine victory and keeps the gap at two points whilst Raphoe remain winless.

Belfast Harlequins continued their strong start to the season as they won 5-1 away to NICS.

Michael Patterson gave his side the lead from a short corner in the first quarter but midway through the second NICS drew level.

However, with the scores level at half-time, Quins took control of the game when Patterson got his second of the game to restore his side’s lead.

The final quarter saw the visitors put NICS to the sword as Paddy Jack doubled their advantage before Patterson completed his hat-trick and Matthew Gray rounded off the scoring.

The win sees the South Belfast side move level on points with Cookstown whilst NICS stay ninth, two points ahead of Raphoe.

Reigning Champions Queen’s University returned to winning ways as they beat Bangor 2-1.

The win also stopped the County Down’s sides run of three consecutive wins which has seen them climb the table in recent weeks.

A Ryan Burgess strike was not enough for Bangor as Conor Irwin struck twice for the students to secure thier second win of the season.

The win now means they are eighth just a point behind North Down, whilst Bangor drop to sixth.

The final game saw Cookstown lose ground in the title race as they drew 3-3 away to mid-table Portadown.
