National Umpire Award Course will take place at Playball, Belfast on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd January 7.00pm-9.30pm

This course will give prospective umpires a solid grounding in the rules and regulations of field hockey.

Candidates will receive a work book, a ‘Fox 40’ whistle, set of cards and a small laminated ‘areas of control’ coloured pocket card.

Umpiring is a great way to be involved in hockey. It gives you the opportunity to give something back to the sport you love, whilst also helping to widen participation in the sport. There are opportunities for everyone to umpire and whatever your aspirations, you will receive support from Ulster Hockey!
