Having trailed 1-0 at half time, a strong second half from the visitors saw them run out comfortable winners in the first of their three games this weekend.
After a quiet start to the game, Ulster had the first significant chance on goal as Nyla Mallon’s aerial was missed by a Scottish defender, seeing Beth Evans break through on goal.
The Ulster forward got a shot off from the edge of the circle, only to be denied by the Scottish goalkeeper before her side won the first penalty corner of the game.
However, the visiting first runner was quick off her line to clear the danger as the sides went into the first break level at 0-0.
Immediately after the restart, good work from Alex McCrea down the right wing saw the hosts win our second penalty corner of the game, but having slipped left Camryn Wilson, the side were unable to break the deadlock.
Then, with seven minutes played in the quarter, it was the visiting side who got the first goal of the game.
Having worked the ball well down the right wing, a Scotland forward received the ball on at the top of the circle before firing in with her second touch and breaking the deadlock between the sides.
The goal proved to be the only difference between the sides going into the half-time break, whilst the Scots could have doubled their advantage immediately after the restart.
A mistake at the back led to a Scottish forward being left one versus one with Ulster goalkeeper, but the shot-stopper did well to close down the attacking player who sent her effort wide of the post.
Just minutes later they were 2-0 ahead. Having forced another high turnover the Scots found themselves in on goal before squaring for a teammate at the back post who was left with an open goal.
In a strong quarter, they soon added a third when they won their first penalty corner of the tie.
A straight strike from the top of the circle proved clinical as the Scottish forward picked out the bottom left corner to extend the Scotland lead before just they added an identical fourth just a minute later.
As the final quarter got underway, Scotland soon found themselves 5-0 ahead scoring with just seconds gone in the quarter, catching the Ulster goalkeeper off her line.
Midway through the quarter, it was 6-0 as a Scotland forward’s reverse strike was deflected in by a teammate at the back post, rounding off the convincing win for their side.
