In the Legacy Wealth Management Premier League, both Belfast Harlequins and Queen’s University are looking to build upon 7-0 victories last weekend.
Quins take on Omagh at Deramore Park with both sides occupying the opposite ends of the table.
Two goals each from Alyssa Jebb and Claire Whiteside put the South Belfast side on course for a 7-0 win at Havelock Park last weekend.
Meanwhile, opponents Omagh were on the wrong end of a 7-0 scoreline as they were thrashed by reigning champions Queen’s University.
Mark Cuddy’s side will now be looking to overturn last weeks disappointing result and kick start their season with an upset.
Elsewhere, the students host Lisnagarvey as they continue their title defence.
They face difficult opposition with Garvey having also gotten off to a winning start last week with goals from Chrissy Hopkins, Louise Hughes and Beth Ravey.
But Simon Bell’s student side will be a tough task to stop with the side having scored a league-high 61 goals last season.
Elsewhere Lurgan are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 5-0 opening day defeat to Portadown.
The side now under the stewardship of Andy Brown, came fourth in the division last season and now take on Banbridge who themselves suffered a heavy defeat on matchday one.
A 7-0 loss to Belfast Harlequins sees Banbridge joint bottom with Omagh and they will be hoping to kickstart their season and avoid a relegation battle this campaign.
The last game today sees Mossley take on Ballymoney at the Glade.
The newly promoted side were unlucky in their first game back in the premiership as they lost 1-0 to Armagh despite a strong performance.
But now Davy Menaul’s side face an experienced Ballymoney side who were also unlucky to lose on the opening weekend.
A 3-1 loss at Comber Road came despite a Karen Ferguson strike for the the side as they now look to get their first points on the board.
There was also one game last night as Portadown continued their fine start to the season with a 5-0 win over Armagh at Edenvilla.
