Ulster Hockey U16 Boys will take on a traveling Scotland side in a three-match series at Ulster University Jordanstown this weekend.
The three matches will feature different Ulster Hockey line-ups from the overall squad of 28 players which was selected at the end of last month.
The sides will be accompanied by Head Coach Jack Kyle, Assistants Nathan Donald and Rickey Lee, Goalkeeping Coach Finlay Marney, Manager Ryan McMaster and Ulster Hockey Talent Coach Shirley McCay.
Ahead of the weekend, McCay said she is looking forward to a ‘competitive’ set of fixtures.
“We are delighted to welcome Scotland to Jordanstown this weekend for what promises to be three competitive games.
It is always special to play for Ulster at home and there will be quite a few Ulster debuts for the majority of the boys in the group. I am looking forward to watching them in action and wish both teams all the best.”
The first of the three games will take place on Friday and is scheduled for a 7pm start with Oli Brown and James Doherty set to umpire and they will be accompanied by Ulster Hockey Umpire of the Year Russell Donaldson.

The second game takes place on Saturday at 12pm and will be umpired by Sarah Craig and Aaron Donnell, whilst they will be accompanied by Robert Johnson as umpire coach.

Sunday’s game will take place at 10am with Eamonn McFerran accompanying umpires Aaron Saunders and Sarah Wilson.
