Both our U16 and U18 girls sides will face Leinster in their Interpros finals tomorrow afternoon in Abbotstown.
It will be the U16s who get underway first and coach Davy Menaul is proud of the work his players have put in to get to this stage.
“The Ulster U16s have been training since June 2023, during this time the group have pushed each other every session to improve.
The results and performances are not only a testament to the quality of every athlete but also to the hard work the group has put into the Ulster 16s programme.
The girls are excited by the challenge of playing a strong Leinster team, determined to perform well but most importantly enjoy themselves.”
Meanwhile, straight after the U16s, the U18s will be in action with Coach Suzanne Evans anticipating another difficult game against Leinster.
“An Ulster Leinster final always promises to be an exciting spectacle, with some of the best talent at this age group competing for the title.
Ulster have scored no less than 23 goals throughout this series, however, the Leinster pool game was a close encounter, with Ulster just edging it.
This squad have all worked extremely hard and have made tremendous progress.
There is a great buzz about the girls and I know they would really appreciate all your support at UCD this Sunday 12th November at 345pm.”
