ICW, one of the UK’s leading providers of building warranty and building control services, has signed a sponsorship deal to support Ulster Hockey’s talent development programme.
The two year deal will support young players as they train with the ICW Talent Development Programme, one of Ulster Hockey’s biggest talent programmes in terms of numbers.
Shirley McCay, Talent Coach with Ulster Hockey said: “We are delighted that ICW have come on board to partner with Ulster Hockey and our U15 Talent Development Programme over the next two years. The programme provides an excellent opportunity for our young athletes to train in an environment where they strive to improve whilst also enjoying a sport that they love. Our principles of high standards with a personal touch certainly align and we are looking forward to working together.”
Aaron McCarten, Chief Operating Officer, ICW Group said: “One of our core values is teamwork and we are proud to be joining forces with Ulster Hockey through the ICW Talent Development Programme to help support these fantastic young athletes as they work towards future success. With over 120 girls and 80 boys taking part across 5 different regions Newtownabbey, Banbridge, Coleraine, Lisburn and Belfast, the programme provides the stepping stone for young talented athletes to work towards consideration for the Ulster U16 squads and beyond.
