Sport Northern Ireland are currently hosting an initiative known as ‘Webinar Wednesday’ which offers a range of sports webinars for different target audiences such as sports development staff, coaches, clubs and others.
The initiative provides webinars with external presenters on alternate Wednesdays, which will continue over the next few months, with a more informal ‘Chat Box’ session with Sport Northern Ireland staff on the week in-between. Times and topics will vary, with sessions confirmed and announced on an on-going basis.
Wednesday 22nd April 2020 will see the next formal webinar offering facilitated, which has an open invite to clubs and the wider coaching family to register. Currently we have a limit of 80 people per session, so please register quickly if you’re keen to participate in a session. We are hoping to raise this capacity to 280 at some point over the next few weeks. Each of these webinars will be facilitated through Zoom, with registration via Eventbrite.
The webinars on Wednesday 22nd April will be facilitated by Liz Burkinshaw, an independent learning and people development professional, and former Development Lead Officer for Participation at UK Coaching. Registration information and details of these sessions are available here:
